I have a 73 Roadrunner with a 440 Stroked to 500 that gets a little warm during stop and go Traffic so I have been planning to Buy a Mancini Custom Built Radiator. Has anyone out there put a Mancini Radiator in their 73 Roadrunner and if so did it work out for you.
I am currently overseas and was going to order it so it is delivered before I get home however Mancini needed a few dimensions to build the Radiator so it will probably have to wait until I get back home.

I can't speak to Mancini at all but Wizard built my package and it's a really nice finished product and cools my 522 perfectly

Radiator is mounted upside down in that picture.

440runner; I run a Mancini radiator and shroud in my 63 Fury. Not the same as your car, but just wanted to attest to the quality and service of Mancini. The radiator will be custom made according to the form you download and fill out. There are measurements for everything! The last radiator they had made for me was 10 days from order to delivery on the West Coast. It cools my 451 Max wedge on 100* days (with Vintage Air) and I'm very happy with their product.

Thanks Coloradodave! I have purchased from Mancini before and had great service but i haven't purchased a Radiator. I have heard good things about them so i'll probably give it a shot.

I have a 73 clone, I do need a radiater as i do have a SB engine but it was built a little and i really don't know how much, it is the way i got it but need a larger one to keep it and the trans cool, Ive been thinking of a new one and maybe ill check the prices with this Mancini, ive heard of them but thought they were for other things, lol, im not a racer i guess and never really thought about them.. Thanks for posting and i hope you don't mind but i think i turned your great looking engine up straight! Good luck to you on getting what you need!! :) And that is a great looking power plant you have there!!! I for one would love to see some more pictures of your bird!!!

I have one in my 68 charger and have no complaints about quality or how it fit. Like coloradodave said print and fill out the sheet with your measurements and you should be fine. If you are having it made with the shroud on it make sure you double check the shroud to see if it is centered or offset so you do not get it made with the wrong one. I checked all my measurements myself a couple of times to be safe before I ordered and I received it within 5-6 days and it was packaged really well

You're welcome. (The thanks tab didn't work.)

$$$ ??? what is the coast compared to the OER desert cooler rad?

I bought mine 5 or 6 years ago and I think I paid $550.00 for it. I liked theirs because the top tank resembled the shape of the original tank more compared to some other ones I looked at. When I was looking at the time there was not to many options for a 22'' compared to what there is now, back then a lot of radiator makers just had listings for 26'' or universal ones close to a 22'' and I wanted a 22'' to bolt in a fit the core support like the original did and Mancini had them. I have ordered a lot from them over the past few years great service and I thought mancini was the original direct connection back in the day not 100% sure.

Thanks Ron
I believe you might have seen it before but it has been a while since I have posted anything. Don't know what happened with the upside down pic but i'll try again.
