sorry Dave it doesn't look ok it looks fantastic :icon_thumleft:

Looks great Dave, won't be long and it will be filled with cars, and allot of activity.

Nice

Photoshop it in the center of the gable and see how it looks.....it would be higher too.

Looks like a great shop - I am envious!

I think the sign looks great too! If no neon, maybe a nice light to make sure it can be seen at night...

Looks really nice,
I hope it works well for you...

And then when he adds the red neon border to the sign it'll look like this . . .

Hope that helps . . .

This looks like the kind of site I want to be buried in - with my X right next to me. I've been following the thread, and being from MN can appreciate the construction care that goes into a project like this. The models look so fantastic they made me jealous. We just don't have room like that in CA where I live now.

continued good luck with the job and hell I know you're going to enjoy the heck out of the finished product! Git her done.....

Looks fantastic Dave! Oh...and thanks for not spelling works with an "X".

oh I think we have enough X's and Z's in the world of clever marketing.

lol

We made a run at some funny/catchy names too.... But a marketing/branding friend advised against it. He said keep it simple and let people know what you do with the business name. Then get busy building a good reputation.

This seemed like good advice.

The only minor twist we put on it was the "classic auto works" rather than a "restoration" or "rods" or "rides" or worse yet rodz/ridez or "body shop" .. etc

we wanted to specify classic autos, we chose "classic" over vintage as most people we asked drew conclusions of wooden spoked model A's when we asked them. "classic" was a broader brush, and "auto works" didn't bottle us into body work only or nit picky concours restorations only. We'll gladly do that kind of work but we will also fit a blown 401 nailhead into a T bucket if that's what somebody wants.

Dave, I can't wait to see this in person if I ever get a load going up your way.

Damm that looks great, you did a really nice job. If you decided to get asphalt shop around a year before so you can schedule. I eded up leaving my asphalt (friend) guy go cause he kept never showing up. I got antler guy that said he would come in 2 weeks and was $10,000 cheaper, go figure.
Agin nice job on the building!
