Beautiful Bee, I love purple and you even have my favorite hood scoop for that model. SWEET!
Also a belated welcome aboard!
WSUTARD, I'm like you white is not my favorite. My interior is very worn and has tears at some seems. Until I can get the seat upholstery kit; I installed some seat covers (blue) from "Seat Covers Unlimited" out of Utah. Since the interior restoration is at the bottom of my list, I didn't want to do any additional damage. I gave this company all necessary measurements, and for $168 (free shipping), I got the front buckets. Yes, they are not the best but fit perfectly and are thick enough to work for what I need temporarily. They have patterns for most vehicles, just not the 70 R/T. RichardGreat white interior. I was thinking about switching my interior to white. How does it hold up? I'm afraid that I would get it dirty or it would become blue from my jeans.
Flypaper, It was a difficult choice as I like all the "B body" cars but settled on this R/T as I've had enough rusty cars over the years, had a similar car (Bee) been available, I'd bought it. Richardwhere is this beautiful Bee that you speak of???????????????????
i only see a pretty nice lookin RT.
maybe my old eyes are failing me??
multimopes, thanks for the welcome, you Mopar experts are much appreciated, thanks, RichardBeautiful Bee, I love purple and you even have my favorite hood scoop for that model. SWEET!

Superb Bee, I'm slowly going thru the car from rear bumper to front bumper, can I send you a post when I get more done? thanks, Richardwhat parts do you need the car is restored lol... I was expecting something totally different. What does it need
Paul, First Mopar, it's been a real challenge, didn't even know where the dipstick for the trans was located; knew ZERO about R/T's and Chrysler products. I have already posted questions about what fluids (trans, axle, etc) are best. I have some knowledge as I've owned chev SS's, GTO's, and a Buick GS; but Chrysler is a bit different. The car looks great up to about 20 ft; then not so great. My wife is very support of; she like the body lines and color combination. I have many questions and you Mopar folks definitely are very helpful and knowledgable. I couldn't believe the amount of information that I got on my recent post. thanks, RichardLove the car! This is one of my favorite color combos! Doesn't look like you'll need much! Just post a list here and everyone can point you in the right direction.
No sir, it's just me. The RT would have bit me if I was there. I am sure I am suffering from one or more of the following: Basic stupidity, pre-senility, CRS, forgot my glasses, midnight delusions, sleep deprivation, or not enough beer!where is this beautiful Bee that you speak of???????????????????

multimopes, No sweat, I'm happy to see that I'm not the only one that gets stuff a little out of order, so think nothing of it!!! RichardNo sir, it's just me. The RT would have bit me if I was there. Actually, I think what flashed in my mind, blocking my eyesight, was that fact that I once worked with a guy back in the day,(before they changed the water), that had that exact same car except his Was a BEE! In any event I stand corrected and must also confess that I would love to have that car even equipped with a slant 6! Thank you for pointing out my blunder. I promise to punish myself when I get home from work!
