Hi Guys,
does anybody have more informations on that car ?

Beside all the BS in the movie about horsepower and so on, I find this car interesting and like to know more about it.
Like wheels & tires, suspension (at least how low it is), rear spoiler (looks not like an original one) ...

Overall, I really like the "stance" of the car and love to adapt some ideas to my GTX build.

Thanks in advance.

cool car ,haven't seen the movie yet

those f*cks at youtube deleted it :soapbox:

I cant wait till the FnF franchise has run its course. Too many vintage muscle cars getting wrecked. On the other hand it shows the ricers that their **** just isnt as cool as old skool is. Nice 71 in the pic , they power all those FnF cars with chevy 350 crate engines. Prob makes it easier to keep everything running on the movie set to have just 1 type of V8 to maintain and keep parts for. Exception was tokyo drift, and any of the rice burners in these movies. The drift mustang had a 430 stroked windsor, and a fake intercooler and fartcan. Apparently the skyline engine they swapped in the closeup shot car couldent make the oomph they needed to fling it around lol.

I remember watching the first FnF and laughing at the corny **** that Diesel VIN said. Now i get it he's just an actor reciting his lines, he doesnt live this **** in real life, heck i dont think anybody does. So the Diesel says "my dad lost his life in turn 2 of a pro stock race" ok, stop, hold up, WTF. There isnt a turn 2 in pro stock. Its an effin drag race isnt it ?!? Well technically there is a turn 2 for the return road, but you are doing about 5 mph when you turn onto it to go back to the pit area. I will be glad when this franchise is done and over with.

Rant over.

I watched a interview with Vin Diesel he did during the release of the first F&F. He stated being from New York City he didn't even have a driver's license or know how to drive a car.

I dug Tokyo Drift....lot of finessed driving & a believable plot based in reality. The Mitsu Evo had the front drive disconnected so it was a two wheeler.

It is a very cool appearing pro-touring style build
I think it was a 1972 GTX-Roadrunner, to start with

probably some fan site from the film that has spec./details
it's a movie car & they made several for filming no doubt

they are notorious for using LS or GM crate engines
in the movie car stunt car build, any brand cars
Don't know much about the real build...

I'm Not the biggest fan of the F&F movie franchise,
not big on all the CGI fake bs, crap storylines about a bunch
of former crooks/street racers, all turned spies & vigilantes...
It's different demographic they're going after,
younger/more gullible, into the social media & tech stuff,
the real stunts are pretty cool & yes I've seen them all on TV so far,
I wouldn't pay to go see any of them...
But a few of the cars & hot young babes are cool, nice to look at...

They've brought a ton of attention to Mopars

I do like a few of the builds, more realistic one...

I had to laugh when my friends buddy brought one of those movies over to watch. The dudes in his early 50s and really believed all the hype. I started messing w him when i saw the scenes with like 4 asian chicks draped over each import, one glued to each fender, and music like boom chi boom, boom chi boom. I said that **** aint real life brother. Maybe at the NOPI nats, yes there is an asian import car meet called that, but not anywhere else.

So i guess the 72 RR GTX clone is Diesel VINs car because they finally ran out of 68-70 chargers to wreck, or people willing to sell the movie company theirs to wreck. So now its onto fuselage plymouth satellites of 71-74 vintage. They will use them all up by FnF #16, then onto the next vintage mopar. Why cant they just use up dynacorn repop challenger and cuda bodies, or pop fiberglass bodys. Nobody cares about that.

Or just go back to the import cars they can do what they please with those cars ! Just leave the mopars for the one actual race in the movie (not sure if the new movie has a drag race in it) haven't seen it yet but in a hurry to ether! I noticed the first few that's all it was really racing then as stated now there mission impossible and 007 and they threw a race in to make the car guts happy I guess . I heard this is supposed to be the last ff movie

Watched the 1st one. Not for me. It does get the young people interested in older cars, but not in a realistic sort of way.

well I've been a fan since the first one ,love action movies ( especially car action movies) and that's what they are
anything that gets the "next " generation into mopars can't be a bad thing can it ?
I'm guessing you guys saying the sooner they finish and they stop destroying cars the better said the same thing about the dukes
deep-thinking-smiley-emoticon.gif

so how many members over the years have said that watching the dukes is what got them into mopars ?
give it 10 years or so and we will hear the same thing from F&F fans
twocents.gif

take them for what they are ,escapism /action /adventure / fun . if you want reality watch the news :icon_fU:

Guys, come on! Those movies are for entertainment, not intended as documentaries of street racing or similar stuff.

I was going to wax eloquent but I've said my piece.

Always thought they were corny. Designed for teenie boppers, or 16-18 year olds that think a honduh civic with a fart cannon, fancy wheelz, and a gaudy paint job is a performance car LOL. FnF 1, blue flames shootin out the tail pipes, gimme a break. I actually watched the first one laughing my *** off thinking a bunch o ID10T young kids are gonna watch it, and think that **** is real. Oh its real alright. REAL CORN!!! I wont waste any of my valuable time watching the rest of em.

Soo...I guess we now know what you think of that subject.

Probably the same reasons that a Road Runner cannot run, or a Super Bee doesn't make honey, or a Charger doesn't resemble a horse, or a Satellite does not orbit the Earth. :D
My Satellite orbited the Earth, once a day at ground level.
