Now that the KB aluminum engine blocks are becoming available and not much cost more than a Indy block are the KB blocks worth it. What are the differences between the two?

Kb blocks have 4 side bolts, Indy 2. Kb oils a little different than an Indy. Indy needs finish machine work, finish hone,line hone, deck. Kb comes finished. Kb used to come with head stus. I'm not sure if they do anymore. Cost wise I think you come out about the same.

I have two old windowed KB blocks at home that still need repaired someday. The quality & how heavy duty they appear are much more superior compared to an Indy block. Plus, they won't have all of the usual quality & complaints every has once buying any Indy product. Here is one of the two.
