Painting in your driveway or garage.... who says it can't be done.

Agree. All my cars were painted in the garage or outside and one was just on my Classic Car with Dennis Gage.

Nice work. The car looks great.
Dennis Gage. What an annoying dork. The guy interrupts people all the time and looks like a total idiot with that stupid hat and gay mustache.

HaHa, I didn't even know who he was! Everyone else around me did though! I saw it/him for what it was, he is in charge of the interviews and drives the conversation to what interests him (and what he thinks his audience wants). He sort of does a pre-interview to see if you are "show worthy" without really telling you, and if you pass he asks if you want to do it on camera. Each segment only gets 3-4 minutes so he drives the conversation such that you talk about as many items, from front to rear, as you can. I thought he was very very good at what he does based on my experience in the interview.

I won't tell you that you're wrong :)

My friend rented a "paint booth" on a weekend from a repair shop. It was really just a concrete booth at the end of a shop, which would have been OK.
We put down 3 coats of red paint on his '67 Mustang and went to get some lunch.
When we came back, found someone came in after we left and was doing body work on the other side of the "booth", and the car was covered with bondo dust :(
Would have been better to paint it in the garage than that "shop".

We painted my Charger outside on the back lawn of my painter's house...

I painted my Road Runner on the driveway outside my father's Industrial workshop.
I have also painted my Hotwheels Customs in my backyard....never had complaints....and then 'baked' the paint in my indoor booth...

The same booth that I used to bake the POR-15 on my GTX brake drums.
