What are your favorite instrumental songs?

Almost every time I get coffee at a restaurant, I can't help but tink the opening to YYZ with the spoon and cup.

Some combos sound amazingly close to whatever Peart used (I suspect something in the triangle family) on the record.

In over 35 years of doing that, I've only had one person recognize what it was and say something.

So many! The Ventures, Joe Satriani, Dire Straits on and on. But certainly one of my all time favorites..

Steve Morse had many with the Dregs. It wasn't until later years that they even had a song with vocals. I saw them 2 or 3 times. They were a talented group.

Booker T & MGs "HIP HUGGER"
Shadows "APACHE"

For us old-timers, I think TELSTAR by the Tornadoes was one of our favorites. 1st British group to get #1 hit in US. 1962. Strange sounds from one of the 1st electronic keyboards that we ever heard. Telstar was a group of satellites the US put in orbit to establish around the world communication system.
Oh, yeah !

Black Napkins has been a favorite of mine ever since I first heard it 40+ years ago.

99% instrumental-

As long as we're in "waka-chicka" land-
