Put the money aside. I am spending the kids inheritance. They'll get it back when I am dead.

I have a couple cut clusters that I have taken out and put uncut clusters in there place. Since I am a Mopar parts hoarder they never got tossed out. This one is a 74 only cluster. Had a giant hole where the radio went, other wise pretty nice and unbroken. The head unit has all the bells and whistles, back up cam, blue tooth hands free, even plays videos. Also using a Dakota digital dash.

What say you?

Since you asked.... The screen looks horrible IMO, everything is round and it obviously isn't not to mention it is WAY too big. But it is your car so if you like it then you are good.

My .02 is run it. Since dash is cut anyway, it’s being put to good use. And it sure looks better than the under dash install or in glovebox options.

I have put head units under the dash many times. Hard to reach but it works. This one is close to me, easy to use. And it is different. I like different.

That cut size will fit a standard head unit without the LCD. It appears to be a 2 Din. Get a retro head unit .
