So I'm trying to drain my 1967 charger gas tank by syphon. I even purchased the FlowJoe - GasTapper Standard 12V Fuel Transfer Pump. The problem is I have yet to make contact with gas from my tube. I just assumed the line would follow the gas tank filler tube the short distance into the tank...
Replaced my wiring harness behind dash. Radio is still out fyi. Can't figure out where this one wire goes. I assume it's a ground wire since it's black/white and has a funky connector but of course not sure. It comes in straight from the firewall connector and behind the cluster. Can you...
Just replaced the wiring behind the dash and down to 2 black wires. They appear to be for the rotating headlight switch however the switch has 4 posts. Can someone confirm the switch only gets 2 wires and if so which posts are used? Of course a picture is always appreciated.
Ran across a 1967 satellite with 4 speed and 440. Thought about swapping into my 1967 charger with an auto and bad 440. Does the 4 speed hardware swap?
Starting to re-wire my dash and as I was pulling out my glove box I noticed a broken pink wire. Can't seem to find where it would have been sourced. It connects to the wiring harness just to the right of the radio. Any suggestions of where to look? Tried reading the wiring diagram but...

- top driver side turn signal bracket that hold the turn signal in place and also connects to the top fender to fender plate across the radiator
- lower 2 piece grill plate that the lights and turn signals attach to
- lower driver side bracket that the lower 2 piece...
While I've seen lots of drawings and read lots of discussions I haven't seen any pictures or a very detailed step by step with pictures explanation which is what this old man needs. My alternator was replaced with a Powermaster 7519 before I got the car. From what I can tell it is referred to...
Just starting the engine bay rewiring. Started with battery thinking it would be easiest. Noticed that my current battery positive cable "had" a black wire taped to it but previous owner cut it and left about 6" dangling from post. Got the new replacement and notice it has a full length black...
I'm concerned about getting the right stance on the car so I'm not too keen on just buying parts and hoping. I prefer level with no gap between the tires and wheel well. Tires filling out the well with some of the top covered. Definitely hard to visualize in my head with this unusual body...
Just checking in to say hi. My first car was a 1962 plymouth valiant in 1976. But left the world of mopar for a miriad of fords, chevys, and amc cars over the years. Took a hiatus from old cars for the last 15 years until this week when I got a 1967 charger. Lots to do. So let the games...
