Mine is a 68 Coronet 500 - Superbee with a 440. I have attached pics of the mufflers. I am hoping to make it quieter by adding 24 inch glasspacks. Seeking your opinions on this move. I really like the tips so I'd rather not change those.
What will I gain with the added glasspacks? Thanks in...

Thanks for your input.

Hi - It's Scott in San Jose. I think many you will know the answer to my question. Mine is a 1968 Dodge B body. I noticed the inner seal in the rear end housing then the gasket at the 5 bolt flange. How are the outer axle bearings serviced? Hand pack them like front spindle bearings?
Thank you!
Mine is a 68 Coronet 500 that came with a 383. Now it has a 440. What changes do I need to make to the 727 so it will work behind the 440?
Thanks as always!
Scott

Mine is a 68 Coronet/Superbee with a 440 and torqueflight 727. Under acceleration there is a vibration or flutter that starts at 20 mph or so. When I put it in neutral it goes away. I pulled the driveshaft and checked the U joints. They were ok. I have considered a trans rebuild but am...
