1969 Dodge Super Bee Coupe Restoration

Still nothing rusted, just dusty thanks to our gravel road ! Most of the parts are now into 5 years since being RPM'd or dipped in Cosmoline in the case of the LCA's . Oil change tomorrow and then I'd better get some airplanes around here ready for Winter so I don't get fired.

Very nice!
Reminds me of the next chore on Fred - front end rebuild. Ugh...

What holey socks are for...

Oil change done, not a single drop of oil spilled on the K frame or elsewhere. Also gotta thank our County once again for the beautiful oil container...

LOL, they're actually giving us three new bins next month for their stupid "carts" program, where the driver isn't supposed to have to get out of the truck. Can't wait to watch how they're gonna do this on a snow covered back road, on the tight corner of our road. Making an absolute mess of the County as most don't have room to store them inside and others like I certainly aren't going to roll them down 1000' long laneways.

But it all sounds so warm and fuzzy when they're making the rules, eh?
Kumbaya. :)

Ya, then three different trucks for three different bins. (Like here)

Now thats green!

I did follow your dart undercarriage rebuild on my sons valiant looks amazing now. I’m working on the diff and leaf springs. But really good info can’t wait for my floor boards to install the front end its been 5 months they should be here in 2 weeks . You really gave some good pointers and ideas saved me much trouble looking many things up. Thanks Jesse

Well it had to happen sooner or later, Therapy got her first dent today. My ceiling mounted (above bay 3) work light slipped out of my hand while moving it from bay 2 to 4... retracting at good speed and got the drivers fender. At least the scuff polished out...making the dent harder to see. The day didn't get much better after that with the '66s fuel tank leaking all over the place and having to drop the transmission pan on the Bird.

ouch
might be good chance to try your hand at that paintless dent removal stuff they got out there
sucks to see that happen to such a sweet ride
that's one the toughest things to worry about after making them so nice

What I learned about PDR is that if there's no crease, it can be done.
If there is, well...

Oops....

Well that sucks Wayne. I think I would try the PDR first as well.

Oops....
that doesn't look like fun at all lol
paint & body is one of the areas where I haven't had much practice to get good at yet but throw a nice 220 gas mig in my hand and I can run a bead like no tomorrow
I believe Wayne will get her all sorted out like it never happened though
