Sorry about forgetting to post the Winternationals "after" results on FBBO. I guess I was still too stunned after having all three of my picks go out in the opening round of eliminations. Can't get any worse than that - unless they don't even qualify.
I'll do better after Phoenix.

OK all, here's your Tuesday before the event reminder to post your picks for the 31st annual NHRA Carquest Auto Parts Nationals in Chandler, AZ. Pro Qualifying starts at 3:30PM EST (12:30PM PST) next Friday, February 20th.
Your picks must be posted to this game thread before the start of Pro Qualifying. Only Top Fuel, Funny Car and Pro Stock for this event. Pro Stock Motorcycle doesn't start until the Gatornationals in March.
The NHRA website currently shows 17 Top Fuel, 17 Funny Car and 17 Pro Stock entries, but this could still possibly change.
Check to verify your pick is racing at this event. You can find the current event entry list at

Welcome, Nick, from the FABO side! You're going to have fun with our little game here. It makes watching the race coverage on TV better - and sometimes louder as you scream at your idiot driver for going out in the opening round of eliminations, like all three of mine did a couple of weeks ago at Pomona.
Don't forget, you'll also need to pick a Pro Stock Motorcycle rider before the Gatornationals in a few weeks.

after meeting Tony and all the DSR guys a few months ago in Vegas Im a fan of them all ...esp Hagan ...him and I have become friends and talk semi often esp when its not race week

Congrats to first-year players SSG Karg (FABO) and Nick2317 (FBBO) for being co-winners of the Top Qualifier title for the 2015 CarQuest Auto Parts Nationals with outstanding totals of 22.5 bonus points. They both picked the #1 qualifiers in Top Fuel and Funny Car, and the #4 qualifier in Pro Stock.
71dartswinger (FABO) and IEduster (FABO) took the runner-up spot with 20.5 bonus points - same point totals but different picks for each.
Budnicks was the top FBBO qualifier with 20.0 bonus points.

We have 23 players this week and 21 different driver combos made up of:
* 7 different Top Fuel drivers with one Round 1 head-to-head matchup between #8 qualifier Larry Dixon (2 picks) and #9 qualifier Spencer Massey (1 pick). There could also be two additional head-to-head matchups in the 2nd round of eliminations if they all survive the opening round.
* 9 different Funny Car drivers and two Round 1 head-to-head matchups. One between #5 qualifier Tommy Johnson Jr. (1 pick) and #12 qualifier Jack Beckman (1 pick), and the other between #7 qualifier John Force (7 picks) and #10 qualifier Robert Hight (1 pick). There are also 3 potential head-to-head matchups in Round 2 of eliminations.
* 8 different Pro Stock drivers picked this week with one Round 1 head-to-head matchup between #8 qualifier Larry Morgan (2 picks) and #9 qualifier Greg Anderson (1 pick). Also a possibility of three head-to-head matchups in the 2nd round of eliminations.
