I'd like to add that this is my first attempt at building an engine. The power plant in a crate 360 Magnum with and an 8 3/4 Sure Grip rear with 3.23 gears. I recently purchased a Holley HP 750cfm, Edelbrock Air Gap manifold, Hooker 1 3/4 LT, Crane ignition kit (distributor, coil, rev-lim, 8.8 wires etc.), Meziere water-pump, triple pass radiator, trans and oil coolers. I'd also like your suggestion on rockers, rods, rings, retainers, springs, etc all things associated to the cam installation.
Any help you can offer I would treat as gold.
I have taken the liberty of adding a few items I've researched and think would fit my application. Please advise freely on your suggestions, like I said I'm new to Mopar and a carburetor engine build. Here are my selections:
Needed advise:
-Porting and Polishing Magnum heads advice
-Transmission improvement kit (auto)
-Torque Converter-lower RPM stall
-Cam (I want the car to sound like a true muscle car, torque beast. This project will never see track or drag time; strictly street driven. Your suggestions are highly appreciated.)
-Stroker components
