Looking good! What do the red tape lines do in that side shot?
its gonna be a two tone paint job, trying to establish a flow between the mis matched body lines.

nice weather and back home so getting some stuff done. lots of money and time spent on car. not much to show for it thus far. kind of gets depressing when one thinks of all the work to be done yet. was not gonna pull the glass but had an uneasy feeling. now VERY glad i went with gut feeling. front ok, back had BIG surprise. more panels coming from amd.

and you'll know it's right when it's done!

Looks like a great start...

was not going to strip down this far. dont know about you guys but the projects allways seem to snowball. got the ( while i am at it, might as well do this too!! ) was hoping the floors were ok and kind of thought they would be. pretty dam nice for 1969 metal. very happy to see them floors clean up. going to work on the rear window rust.not sure on how to attack it but gonna dive in anyhow.

those floors are amazing! and that back window rust is very common!

What size are the tires on the back of your net. I'd like that look on mine. Also if you know what the offset of the rear wheels are that would also be great. It's good to see another 69 Coronet / Super bee being brought back to life. Just remember to focus on one task at a time so it doesn't become overwhelming.

Yea, I wasn't going to do as much as I have either on my car.But you'll have the satisfaction of knowing that it is going to last.

i will get a look and get back to you with the info, they are pretty wide and did not rub at all.i have been thru your resto page, i got nothing to wine about . you have done some serious work compared to what i have to do.

are you going to repaint it the Q4 or Q5 Turquoise, I couldn't tell which it was, I love those colors on 68-69's, my RR is the LL1 Surf Turquoise Metalic, well was, before I started all the body work & it will be again...

actually going a whole different route, two tone with a third body line breaking color. had it for 33 years now and figure i will have it until im 6' under LOL. the way i see it ,the next guy will have fun undoing everything i did and bringing it back to orginal. ( and probablly swearing the whole time) keeps the full circle thing going.

There ya go. Make the next guy wonder what was going thru your mind as he sands it all back down.
