Helping a friend out with a 360 build up for a '73 Coronet. The car currently has a decent running 318 but he wants to swap it out for a relatively stock built 360 for a little more grunt. He has a complete low mile 360 on hand already but don't know what it was pulled out of or whether it came with manifolds or not, can confirm that at some point soon.

In any event, the preference is to keep things looking "factory correct" so unless it turns out to be really difficult to make some particular flavor of 360 manifolds work, headers are not on the table.

We have not fleshed out the rest of the exhaust system yet but presume either keeping the existing factory stuff or if he decides to spend the coin on new it would be for dual 2 1/14" -2 1/2" tube with some type of mellow sounding turbo muffler, not sure on tips. Car has power steering and a column shift automatic.

Given those parameters and considering performance and fitment, what would be the most bestest and/or most practical choice for 360 exhaust manifolds in a later B body application?

Part numbers or specific factory application info is appreciated as well as pics if ya got 'em. Thanks for any input and suggestions!

Anyone out there have a suggestion? Would any old manifold work?

Car has 2 1/2" head pipes into dual 2 1/4" exhaust with 'hemi' mufflers.

Duel factory exhausts 2.25 will work fine. PO of my car did the same thing to my 2bbl 400 engine and it ran fine. If you are not looking for monster horsepower, just a stock build, then run with this and you will be happy.
