Hi folks. I've been lurking and loitering around this site for some time but just plucked up the courage to join. I look forward to conversing with like-minded people.

I have a 1972 Satellite (couldn't afford a Roadrunner) that came to New Zealand in 2013. It has a small block 318 and I have no plans (yet) to put my dream big block in there. As with many people it's a never ending project.

Of course my fascination with Mopar all started as a young kid watching The Dukes of Hazzard in the early '80s, mimicking the jumps and stunts on bicycles, motorcycles and home-made trolley. I love the late '60s and early '70s NASCAR with a particular love of all things Petty.

Welcome aboard from another Petty fan in Illinois, USA!! Beautiful Satellite!

Greetings from northern Michigan.

Nice lookin' Satellite. And I'm sure on this forum it's safe to say we're all Petty fans.

Welcome from NY! American classics across the world. Always neat to see!

Welcome to FBBO from sunny Half Moon Bay.

Looks like a decent car.....maybe catch up sometime.
Hey thanks.

All the interior is stock and in pretty good condition for it's age. Definitely smells like 1972, though. I think this is a good thing, but the wife not so much.

Most definitely do a catch up at some point. Not too far from the s̶u̶n̶n̶y̶ Waikato.
