This Charger VIN stamping is better than mine.Does that mean that they are like the the ones on this Charger?

That's a great looking tag Wayne..... and to me is 100% legit. Also noted the SPD is only 4 days before my ex-GTX at the St Louis plant. The car in the OP is absolutely drop-dead gorgeous and all the more stunningly beautiful without the optional front bumperettes. The bumperettes are a personal opinion kind of thing you know.
I like everything about the dash VIN plate on this Charger. I've been critical of other dash VIN plates posted to the NOT MINE cars for sale threads. I haven't changed my mind about one in particular @kiwigtx
If we wanted to get really picky about something on the OP car, then we could say a couple of things about the fender tag screws and the smooth paint (no rag marks) around the fender tag itself. Mine for comparison is below:

Thanks Wayne! We’ll see how it works out.The car in the OP is absolutely drop-dead gorgeous and all the more stunningly beautiful without the optional front bumperettes. The bumperettes are a personal opinion kind of thing you know.

The posted ad was the current owner’s purchase years back.Looks to be a pretty nice car. Unless I missed it in the add/link somewhere what is the asking/sold price for this beauty?
Appreciate the input!I would think someone trying to fake a VIN stamp would be prone to making it too perfect
Working on it.Well, have you made plans to go see it yet?
How much is the dealership asking price ?
Could not find it listed in the ad
Great points. In person inspection (made that stupid mistake once) is a given to validate 100% as represented. I’m very fortunate to have a gracious, local lifelong, charger friend to help with the inspection. Appreciate the detailed input!Graveyard Cars had a recent episode on reading codes and serial number locations for a charger. You may want to search it on youtube. It was very good info.
I believe they mention power brakes standard on R/T?
If it's big bucks I would want verification of the numbers on the radiator support and trunk rail.
Is there a broadcast sheet?
The leaf sprigs were heavy duty?
The fuel line in 3/8?
Is the radiator and shroud correct number? Big bucks to find the right ones....
Does it have the proper fan?
I think there is a way to verify that is an 18 spline trans. And year? Ask Brewer
Does the carb number match? - again big bucks to find the right one for that application
Proper exhaust manifold castings?
I could go on and on. I'm sure others can chime in.
At least write a clause in the sale that if upon inspection the car sold as a numbers matching car fails inspection that you get reimbursed or if you really like the car get a reduction in price. Perhaps a deposit and contingent upon inspection to verify that the car is number matching.
The difference today is that these cars are selling for such high prices that people are going through great lengths to create "original" numbers matching cars. It's an investment now and that requires a Mopar expert inspection.
Even a boat sale allows an inspection before completing the sale......
