Are FABO part prices better than FBBO

My best advice? If you don't like how a member does business, don't buy from or sell to him.

Pretty dumb/cheap not to pay the $100 and get the rockers before selling. Guys on here may buy a part put some work and resell the part for profit 3 or 4 time purchase price. Saw a NOS part on ebay sell for $300. It was advertised here $1500 what a guy! Don't know if it sold? Maybe discounted to $999!
Like, Agree & Thanks Fran!

Just wrong to exploit members for profit only, in my opinion. I will sell to a member who is in need of a part I have in an effort to help others, and try to be fair with price. You know, "Do unto others as you would have them do for you"? ruffcut

Now we are drop shipping used parts? Jeeze, better hope there are not any delayed "supply chain issues" or the whole scheme will crumble and piss off many.

We don't know that so we can't say with certainty. Until Bigboy sells the parts and asks the original seller to drop ship to another address, that is a moot point.

As a newbie at buying parts from this forum, it is obvious that some other sellers do not share your convictions. I would hope they’re not too many shysters. But buyer beware for sure!

I actually needed a set of those rockers and noticed them listed on both sites for different prices plus he had different reasons for selling them. I was determined to find them elsewhere. Luckily I found them at a way better price. A couple of years ago he was looking for some parts which I had. We agreed to a price and he sent me a down payment. The time for the next payment passed and then some weeks later he told me that he was no longer interested in the parts and I could keep the down payment. At first I felt bad about keeping the money but now I don’t.

There’s another new thread over on FABO concerning this guy and his resume.

And linked directly to this one.

You can run, but you cannot hide.

Real estate agents are just brokers hired by the seller !

Well, what about real estate wholesalers? Get a property cheap and under contract to buy, then sell it to someone else without ever actually taking title or possession. This happens all the time in many areas of business transactions.

I, in NO WAY, condone the activity of having other people from this or other sites warehouse purchases so the buyer can jack the price up to someone else.

Badlilred on FABO still owns and has not received payment on the parts yet. Bigboy committed to buy but the seller has not received payment yet.
What Bigboy does with these parts after he has paid in full and possess them is his business but I feel (my opinion) that it is pretty ballsy and un-ethical to attempt to sell parts that haven't been officially paid for and that he doesn't possess yet. That's borderline fraud in my book.
