I was looking through a recent magazine and the car names were great. Super Snake and White Trash were the ones that stuck in my head.
 
Well not a mopar one That sticks with me was a 63 chev impala 409 called "Faded Memories"

Way back when, a buddy's older bro had "**** and get" on his chevelle, Detroit dragway made him change it so he removed the s and it became "hit and get"

One guy at the track had a 67 Camaro that was painted day glow orange and called it Glow Worm....

Local guy here has a Chevelle called
Cubic Money.
Kinda like that one.
 
They called mine FROG. The front suspension was too tight, the rear shocks too short for the SS springs to work and it would "Hop" out of the hole when the suspension would unload. Just a teenager with no money and used what ya got. Photo was from 1976 fresh out of the paint shop.My buddy's one car garage with a Sears compressor and paint gun.Those were the days !

Buddy of mine and his brother built the King Snake Viper to kick Hennessey's ***..and it did...until Hennesey sued them out of business

Legend has it that this car was the slowest blown Hemi in the world....must have had SSR tune it up. :D
It was also affectionately known as "The Peach Pig"
 
My dad had a 68 impala ss conv called the banana split

My friend has a jacked up 72 chevy truck with Back in the saddle on the tailgate
 
back in the 60s my dad had a hobby class named car 54 , and one named bingo
 
My 68 Coronet R/T has "The Morning After" on the door. Wish i knew some history on it besides coming out of Colorado.
