Not having any luck with the search...

I know I've seen posts...

Now that I have a 4 barrel intake and carb to go with my cheap summit cam, moving rapidly up the priority list is installing those, as well as replacing the water pump and valve cover gaskets, and painting the whole front and top of the engine.

What's the most cost effective vendor and brand for 73 blue?

Think 6 cans will do, and leave a can for touch up?

Can you get it by the quart?

Thanks.

I used the POR15 for my 440 and it seems OK. Best to brush it on as I found out.

POR 15 doesn't like heat. If it gets hot it will bubble. Try some on a hot spot on your daily driver, it will fail.

Thanks for that link.

I don't know how cost effective they are, but Bill Hirsch is one of the best suppliers out there.

X2 on hirsch, if you choose to spray it 1 qt is plenty, use a small amt of reducer.

Anyone used the Eastwood non-spray can with ceramc?

$40 for a quart and free shipping.

I like the ceramic idea.
