Running a 400/500 stroker in a 67 Satellite with 440 source “stealth” heads and I need some advice on what to run for headers

it originally had Headman headers but, one of my offspring bent one of the tubes and I can’t make it right.

thank you

I use the Dougs (2") on my 493 stroker. Very good fitment.

Just got my new Doug's Headers yesterday. My 20 odd year old Dredmans rusted through right at #5 cyl. Sounds like the old days when we MADE them leak. I'll let you guys know about the fit once I get them on.

Had to clearance my passenger side torsion bar and the #1 pipe is about 3/8" from my shock tower...

I'm working on a 67 belevedre now going to be swapping out my tired 440 for a low deck 470 with trick flow heads and been told 2 in headers won't fit the body correctly without a few modifications, hopefully someone who has done it will chime in

I have not done this swap but, it's the difference in deck height that causes trouble. If you still have the 440 installed with headers on, look underneath at clearances with the headers dropped about 1" and look around the steering system with the same conditions in mind. You may run out of road to header clearance.

Doug's makes headers for "B" engines and "RB". Some companies don't and there can lie the problem with clearance issues.
