Help with Fuel mixture!

Hello all I am having trouble getting the fuel mixture set on my 440 6pack center carb. I turn the fuel mixture needles in all the way and the motor doesnt cut out or bog. It still idle off the outboards. The meter block is new. Can I negate the outboards to get the center dials in. Or what is the best way to get it set properly with a gage ect. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I know I've seen a thread on this. Do a search on here or you can even "Google" tuning six pack procedures.

Or just hang in there, there's people on here that will help...
