Wow, would that ever be fun to go to! Especially with cash and trailer.....

Thats a clean cut yard there and an open backyard ......

Looks like that they have some fairly good projects in there ....

I Think i can, I think i can, I think i can, :thinker: STUPID NO you can`t!!!! :sad11: ( It really sucks to be 12 hours away!!! ) :eusa_wall:

I wish I was only 12 hours away! Living in the Central Valley of CA, we're just a bit further away. It's painful to see that a majority of the Mopar muscle is currently in the South or East Coast. But if you want a VW Beetle, can't throw a rock without hitting one around here.

Our priorities were definitely screwed up in the late 60's early 70's.

I talked with Peanut several times. He said they have titles to 80% of the cars. I was heading there Sunday and got about halfway and my transfer case went out and i came home on a rollback. I'll be going Saturday. If i get there!

If anyone manages to make it and theres a decent 70 coronet, i'd be much obliged if they'd let me know, quite happily get some beers in for anyone who helps out

Did anyone talk with this guy and get an address? it's 3 hrs from me so i'm heading down there, if I can get the address.

33 Cooks Rd, Farmville, VA is the address Peanut gave me.

Man that would be a fun road trip! I just had a flashback of R&R Auto Salvage in Aurora, MO. I had a great time there when i stopped in a couple times in the late 80's or early 90s. The owner was real class ... a super nice guy. He took me and my dad on a tour of all of his buildings (saw his collection of 6 Pak cars which was immense he was trying to have one 6 pak car of every body style to include Hard Top, Coupe, Conv, wing car, etc) and we even got to go in his underground garage! I wish i had taken a camera. It was like a car show of survivors as well as some really nice fixed up cars. He had a couple Hemi conv ebodies, one white, one black, and a sox and martin 70 cuda which i believe he said was real.

He had piles of pistol grips, probably a dozen shaker hoods hanging on the walls, and stacks and stacks of hemi heads, blocks, and the list went on.

Sorry he had to die so young and sorry for the blast from the past, i hope those that can make it score big and have a great time doing it!

Pic from Google Earth. That's alot of cars!!
lots of cars.jpg

Now that would really be a long and wet "road trip" for you 62 Dart Conv!

Tallhair, please post your picture!:eusa_angel:

I made it this morning. The place was fabulous and there were cars and parts galore. I only needed a complete jack assembly for my car and he didn't have one so i took a bunch of pictures, with his permission, and came home. This guy has stuff squirreled away you can't believe. I ran into The Golden Rotisserie Chicken dude and his guys. I probably saw as many parts in all the buildings and busses as i see at Carlilse at the Chrysler show. Busses and buildings full of hoods, fenders, doors, seats, trucklids, wheels, etcetcetc. I saw several complete convertible top setups in one of the buildings. Nice guy and he knows what his stuff is worth.

Oh and the 71 GTX.

The GTX in the barn is sold and it is rough. Not sure about the Demon. I liked the 67 R/T. The '70 cars in the barn were in pretty rough shape. One of those 65-66 darts was a 4speed slant six!
