Just to save them from getting crushed. I also bought a 64 Dodge 880. There was a 75 Bricklin with the 351 Ford engine. Another fastback Barracuda but it got crushed despite my best efforts. I’ve been super busy with the YouTube channel. Have found a ton of cool cars & parts. I’m headed back to Colliers AMC dealership Saturday. Robbie tells me there’s still plenty of cars in there. FURYIOUS is a mess. Engine & trans broke & currently out of the car. Plan to be back on the track in April & with a new color scheme.

how did you break both the engine and tranny :BangHead: Dang your good. why are you changing the color not feeling it anymore? Nice save Bob on the mopars

Great save! Guys gripe about how many Mopars were painted green in the '60s....was EVERY '66 and '67 Charger painted that copper color?

Haha it takes talent. Oil pump failure on the engine & valve body issue on trans. Fried the clutches. We know what went wrong. 440 with MO-Power at the machine shop & the trans is at the trans shop. Color change is sponsor driven, but I kinda talked him into doing something different.

No they weren’t, I have 2 66’s and a 67 that were XX1. 1 66 and the 67 L could be done. 67 is a driver. Get to that later, if things work out.

They came in baby blue too.

If you aren't already, Bob's channel is a great subscription on YouTube.
That rascal is prolific in his video postings!

Nice save cbodybob, parts cars? 440'

Yep, interested to know the factory config on those cars.

Sitting on wet dirt & wet leave/needles
all around on & in them
for 25 (probably more) years

the topsides don't look too bad
good racecar shell/hull candidate/s "maybe"

IMO they are money pits if you want to do a restoration
(albeit with prices going thru the proverbial roof for professionally built,
quailty professional build & fully restored resto-mods, it may be
actually viable now to take a rusted-out hull & turn it into a driver today,
maybe (?)

the whole underside & rockers will be bad
whatever you see that is rusted on top
count on anther 20% + to 40% + or more
in the hidden rust, under it, you can't see
you can see where all the stuff/leaf debris & pine needles etc.
was pushed off the top that had been sitting on it forever
that can't be good for "the rust" situation too

I hope you got them 'dirt cheap', literally

like I said they could make 'a good shells/hulls"
for a racecar, put a new fabricated chassis/cage under them
& Lexan windows etc., lil' tin & tub work, etc. etc. etc...

been there done that too many times

IMO mostly parts cars otherwise, not even sure about that
until they are cleaned up & thoroughly inspected,
to see what's even still good/saveable...

not trying to piss on your Cheerios,
just being honest & real

good luck

my $1.25
