Hey Guys,
I hopped on the forum after being a long time lurker so I can follow a few great builds. The 70 RR on LX conversion is my favorite.

Don't own a B-body at this time but have built many and love the cars.

Currently putting a 6.1l and LX suspension under my '55 dodge pickup.

Thanks,
John

Welcome aboard sir! Sounds like you have some serious skills.....always welcome in here......

Welcome to FBBO from NorCal

Thanks for the warm welcome guys!
Here are some photos when the '55 was in "pro-street" mode before the latest teardown. I am in process of a turning it into pro-touring project using a 6.1L Hemi and LX/LC suspension and brakes.

I will post some current photos of the build when I get home tonight.

Nice truck. I also have a truck to go along with my project Mopar Charger. However, my truck is a Chevy and it's still in original condition. Sorry folks, can't pass up a chance to brag on my old truck!! :eek:ld_school:

That is a beautiful truck camtra.. I love the grill. Here are a few photos of the frame mods so far for the LC rear, modified RMS k-frame and LC brakes.PIC_2978.jpgPIC_2979.jpgPIC_2980.jpg

When I finish my 69 Charger I think my next project will be to resto-mod an older truck just like you did. Is that the original frame that you made mods to or is that a different frame? Most of the Chevy folk take a frame off an S-10 and go from there.

That is the factory frame that I boxed and modified some 18 years ago. It has a fabbed front stub using RMS front suspension parts added later and the rear mods are the latest work.
