Mark the Calendar, Just dropped off my "X" at the paint shop!

Yes! Nela Park Ohio has always been G.E. Lighting's headquarters. They sold off
G.E. Appliances to a Chinese company and leased them the name and Meatball for
forty years! I'll never buy any of that __IT! Hope you can stick it out till you are
retirement age. Those pension checks coming every month are Great! Gotta get
the Mopar done!

Haier was the one that bought the appliance group . I just saw the paint pictures that car is going to be beautiful .
6 years hopefully .

So, after I posted the pic's in the booth, He had to shoot the Hood, Deck lid,
two doors, Door hinges, and the two pieces above and below the grill. I want
to stay out of his hair, but the weather here in Northern Illinois is starting to
change for the worse. I don't look forward to trailering the car back home in a
Blizzard! The only hiccup I have so far is that I can't find my two deck lid hinges!

I had the same problems with my tools when I worked for a living!

No. Painted the torsion bars for the deck lid but can't figure out what I did with
the hinges! God, I hate getting Old!

I Found Them! I Found Them!!!!! I'll run them over in the morning so's he
can put some color on them. I'll bring the bolts for the Deck lid and the lock
mechanism. I purchased a U.S. Cartool bolt kit for the car but I'm only going
to use it as a guide for what bolts go where. I guess I like the idea of the CDP
head stamped bolts being back on the car. I just saw a picture on-line that shows
the different size bolt/washer combinations in the correct location on the hood
hinges. Never paid attention when I was taking it apart!

Sounds like your car is going to be home real soon.

I hope so! I'll take some pic's tomorrow morning and post them.

O.K., Now we're cooking! Picked up the car today and went back and got the hood.
Spent the last week pigeon holing everything I could put away. What a P.I.T.A!
I need a bigger garage! Tomorrow I go back and bring back the front fenders and
then turn around and go get the Deck Lid. I can only fit so much in my S.U.V.
safely so I don't "Bump" parts together. Lots of moving blankets. Ended up costing
me $3350.00 for all of the work. Looks fantastic! Not going to need much wet sanding.
Josh put three coats of clear on the car, let it dry, knocked it down with 1500 and shot
two more coats of clear on it. The shop is: Contours Auto Body, 10117 Bode St.,
Plainfield Il., 60585. Now I can honestly say that he does great work with no surprises!
