there are several of us "Bubble Heads" on site here. This Chiefs last name doesn't happen to be Tortoriggi? If you've been in the Navy long enough to be a Chief than he probably was a career sailor. Being in 20+ years will certainly make you wise beyond your years.

I was east coast sailor. Drydocked in Newport News at the end of 1st overhaul and later did floating drydock in Holy Loch, Scotland. Many years ago.
