My wifes Volvo is starting to show it's age.
I thought I'd start looking at options and see what prices looked like.
Then I saw this!
(I think I'll start collecting empties along the highway to get the extra cash)

Are they though?
I bought my 2013 Charger Hemi, AWD brand new(ordered it even, not dealer stock) out the door, BEFORE TRADE for 28k.
Seems like a 70k+ miles used jellybean for over $25k is not that great.
By this example, my car that also has about 70k miles on it should be worth at least close to the $25k right? iI is older, but it is also an AWD hemi Charger and not a jellybean. Pretty sure if I look on edmunds or KBB for trade in value it will fall short lol.

Then again, things are not what they were are they?

You could have the title as ______ _______ prices are out of control... Sadly going to get worse.

We just got a new Toyota Rav 4 Hybrid for a vehicle at work, they cost 45k now for a damn Rav 4! I'm not impressed with it at all.I will keep driving the 2004 Blazer.

We sold our 2016 Lexus 450h to Carvana for $19,400. Carmax offered 17,500 and some other online deal was offering $12k. Not sure how far below market that was but I didn’t want to bother trying a private sale for a bit more. The catch to the vehicle carfax was I was rear ended in 2018 by a nut going 60 mph coming right off the freeway that turns into a city road - never touched his brakes and I was stopped for the light so… his camery was destroyed. Cosmetically my vehicle really didn’t look bad at all but the frame was bent. Replaced with a new rail vs straightening the old one. Car looked and drove like new when we sold it in December but the markdown was what it was. I’m ok w/that….

New car prices are crazy and that drives up used car prices; and let's not talk about new/used car loan rates.

Here's a new Charger GT AWD in upstate NY. That's crazy high to me.
