60's mopars steelies with dog dish caps or magnum 500's 71 on up gotta be ralleys

Cool look. I think I have a couple of those early wheels lying around here somewhere.

Would like to find a couple more of them and a little wider than 5.5.

I don't think they were made any wider were they? I think that early wheel has a larger dog dish cap diameter than the later years. I'm sure these centers could be put into wider rims. PM me if you have any interest in the two I've got.

It would probably cost an arm and a leg to ship them..plus the cost of the rims.

Well, you can see what I prefer...

Hmmm. Tough question. I really dig the body color steelies with dog dish caps... but they only look right on some of the sixties Mopars.

Mopar Rallyes are pretty hard to beat... took my Charger to a whole new level when I put on the new shoes!

Whoops... just noticed this thread is in 66-70... my Green Monster sticks out like a sore thumb! Sorry 'bout that, folks- my final answer is Dog Dishes with Body Color Steelies.

All depends on the car. Here's my list -

1) A Body - Cragar S/S or body colored steelies + hubbies
2) B Body - 68-69 would be Magnum's. Earlier would be torque thrusts or steelies + hubbies.
3) E Body - Rally's

My girl (69 roadrunner) is getting black steelies all round, but her front steelies will be hidden behind some of these

so untill i can afford them these wheel covers cinda look like a cheap knock off of a recall, they came factory on the c body's and at least one promotionals pictures of the 500

hey Stu....that red charger...the back window......did you put a plug in that or is that a daytona without the wing and nose????

It's a Charger 500 and it was built that way by mopar for aerodynamics, for NASCAR oval tracks tpodwdog. It was the Daytona's older brother, made for racing. Has the same grille as a 68' Coronet. Rare!
