What year are you referring to? Mine is a 69 and no locating marks on hood or fender . I would like to know the correct spots as I’m installing the 6bbl hood on minepre-made locating stamp and cut-out from the factory with corresponding mount pad below it...
...and people still get it wrong.
Half the work is already done for you.......
Well.... some folks like myself just don't drill holes in our hood because Mopar said drill here. I spent a lot of time moving the plates around where they would correspond with a good location beneath before finding what suited me and it wasn't there , to me I just don't like them on the edge. The sloppiness in your post is what's bothersome not where they are. There is a mounting pad on the fender flange, aligned perfectly with the locating hole on the hood.
Not sure how so many folks get it wrong, but they do.

No, to far of a drive for me to enjoy.Hey!747! , you going to Carlisle this year ???
Yeah, my hood has no markings ,embossments or anythingI believe some models have an extra bracket that is not present on non pin equipped cars.
I also believe a simple substitute bracket could be made of heavier gauge metal to locate the pins in the factory position, aligned with the area on the hood, already prepped for them.
