Need some advice -- Real barn finds

Not sure how this turned into a restoration thread, but not every car has to be turned into a concours, trailered restoration. Plenty of less expensive alternatives available, even more so if the work is done by yourself. 30k for paint and body on a driver is obsurd.

If the six pack carbs and intake are originals........I would remove the intake, carbs and air cleaner. Then sell separately......key on the carbs are the dates...
You would probably get more money, but it seems a shame to separate them if they were in fact original to the car.
Maybe I've overlooked it, but wouldn't a restoration also require replacing the hood? Add some more $$$ into the estimate.

Congrats on your move to the good 'ol Midwest. Hopefully you've driven in snow before

City Slickers...what a great movie that was![/QUOTE]
Jack Palance yes,

City Slickers and Billy Crystal not so much.

There is no such thing as a 68, 69 charger six pack? So how can that be original? 1970 was the first year the six pack was offered in a charger.....

I lived on the east coast and in pittsburgh.....it has been awhile but is nothing new.....Thanks on the congrats, Trent!

Thanks for your clarifications and advice. I took things too personally and was highly irritated yesterday with work. I thought the forum would be a little distraction to relieve my stress but I guess my stress came through. My apologies to you guys and the OP for screwing up his thread.
I get that....had many of those days myself......Actually, today, lol....

We are all a brotherhood here.....no worries fellow Texan from an ex Texan.....

Soooooo, Let's talk about the Satellite.

Looks solid from the somewhat poor angles.

How are the quarters and the cowl?

B5 with B5 interior....+ and +

Buckets +

Column shift -

Big block +

Is the VIN code L or N ?

If N could be a double + as it makes it a Roadrunner in Satellite insurance clothes, and somewhat rare.

383 2 barrell

still a big block car

I when up to Iowa to get my brothers car yesterday.

Cleaned it up today. Before and after. Initial impressions.

Lower quarters need work
Front fenders need work or replaced.
Floor pans, rockers and trunk in very good shape.
Interior very nice.
Only 58,000 miles.
I have a good drivers door and center grill section.
Tires shot
Motor seems to be stuck, will pull plugs and start soaking.

Looks good that is a 20k-up project. That was like my first car same body color and interior except mine had a tan alligator top instead of white. I agree with looking into that 6 pack set-up and selling it separately as it adds no value to that particular car. It has the Fresh air cleaner lid with the wide lip. Is the 71 Plymouth still sitting there?

Yes, I hope to get back soon to rescue it.

Congratulations she looks soooo much different .

I probably destroyed several thousand dollars worth of patina.

Just remember you just threw 2 pieces of fresh meat to a pack of wolves. We are trying to help you but...not one of us would turn down a smokin' deal on those two cars.

I use Hagerty's price guide quite a bit. It's fast and free. You are going to be below the even price for a car in fair condition but it will help.

I wouldnt waste any time with Hagerty. They might be ok with restored cars but 2nd gen Chargers projects are a hot commodity. You will be leaving money on the table i think. I see about 18-20k sitting on that trailer. Jmho...
