New Charger - for real this time!

I'll quit complaining when YOU are the one paying the bills to repair a poorly designed engine. Go ahead i'm waiting. Thing is I paid for the trucks, I am the one having to pay for the parts to repair them and I'm the one spending the considerable amount of time to do the repair. I'm entitled to bitch about it all I want, hopefully I can save someone else the grief of dealing with this garbage. Maybe you don't work hard for your money, I do.

When I was six years old in 1970,this was the new Charger my parents brought home, and it was for real, this time and every time!

I did a search just before posting it here, even on Dodge's official site
AllPar, Car & Driver, MotorTrend & a few others too
tried to find any gasoline-powered ICE 2dr 2024 Charger on the -www-
or articles about any, zilch nada bupkiss zero to be found
all of them avert./come up with an LEV platform
none powered by a ICE
They advert. a 340 model & a 440 model
(340 {$35k) & 440 {$50k} are HP/EV Motor ratings)
& another SRT model forget what they called it, still EV ****
none of which advertise an ICE option either
(Internal Combustion Engine = ICE, for those too dense/indoctrinated
to figure it out)
IIRC there was a Challenger with the twin turbo'd 'hurricane straight six',
only the Challenger (not the Charger) no more ICE 'Hemi's'
(didn't see any v6's or the new turbo'd straight 6) in any of the Chargers
only Challengers (Hornets or Durangos albeit a SUV possibly too)
looks like no more ICE in the Chargers offered "at al", 2 dr or 4 dr
said likely will still be a 4 dr option
Even the Police version is an LEV platform...
Hurricane 6 cylinder, 3rd paragraph

The Hellcat-Replacing Twin-Turbo Hurricane Straight-Six Will Have Over 520 HP

Quit the complaining. Of the MILLIONS of those engines built, their failure rate as a percentage is quite low.
It's just like the guys that get on the forums to bash Comp Cams for failures, claiming that all their stuff is junk. If you sell MORE units than everyone else combined, of course you'll have more failures. You'll also have more success stories but considering the way that many people are, you hear more complainers than cheerleaders.
Agreed, there's tons of 'em still out there in service, both mine included:

2004 Ram 4x4 SLT hemi, bought new - currently at 180k miles, ZERO issues with the hemi.
It's a keeper; my wife will have it after I'm gone.

2012 Charger R/T hemi, also bought new - full dresser, 110k miles, runs like new, also zero
issues with the hemi. Runs like a scalded dog.

Also bought a 2006 Charger R/T, over 100k when traded in on the 2012. Also zero issues with
the hemi.

I tend to be loyal to machines and people who are good to me...

I'll believe it when Stellantis, Tim Kiniscus says it's so,
any other articles are speculation...

He's also now in charge of the Ram division too,
the Ram Dakota Rebel 4x4 (Rampage ? or 1200 ?) possibly,
according to him, officially (no release dates yet)
(the Ram 700 is already out in South American Market)
is coming back to the US market,
Reg Cab, Extra Cab & 4 dr versions in 2 or 4wd
hopefully body on chassis, not unibody crap

I think they said ICE versions are straight 6 or inline 4 with turbo
a limit version in EV (I'm not the least bit interested in)

I've seen reports of 2024 & 2025,
I don't know what to believe...
He personally hasn't said when...
Hurricane twin turbo'd straight 6,
1 version is 295hp
another is like 420hp IIRC
still speculation as far as I've seen
