My in-laws have a flight out of West Palm Friday late afternoon. Hope it doesn't get cancelled. They're 80 and can't deal with a direct hit.

My inlaws had a 7PM flight tomorrow,not afternoon. The Jetblue chick told me they're closing the West Palm airport at 10PM. Too close for comfort if there are delays. I was able to switch them to a 10AM flight with a stopover in Boston. I'll be able to sleep tonight. For all you guys staying, stay safe. Prayers are with you all.

I would take up that vacation in n.j. but I have 13 ducks 4 dogs and a cat plus a wife and 3-4 cars to bring and the old man I take care of ! So yeah I need to stay . Plus when the looting begins I get to try out my new ar15 !

I need to stay I am in charge of my neighborhood! I need to be here for the quick repairs and filling generators for the older couples in the middle of the night . I sware I've fixed 15-18 different generators in the past 2 days and have started about 50 ! I'm getting tired and beat ! Surgery is on the 20th for me so the hurricane needs to get here get done and leave paco out there needs to come back later trump won't let him in without papers !

Don't laugh but take a condom and tie or rubber band it around the end of the barrel. Also keep the dust cover closed. These will help keep water and other debris out of your rifle. My flight was cancelled for Saturday as Orlando airport is closing at 5:00. They rescheduled it for Monday and now I just got an email that Monday is cancelled as well. Stuck in Orlando again.

We stayed for Ike....it sucked but it slowed down a lot when it made land fall and we were mostly on the dry side. My wife (now estranged) wanted to stay so at the last hour, I made the decision to stay. The truck was loaded and ready and the escape plan was made. It was crazy and the eye went pretty much right over us and lasted 45 minutes! The area looked like a war zone when it was done but no one in the neighborhood lost their houses which to me was pretty amazing. Stay safe man! Btw, if anyone wants to go as far as Houston (Pasadena is on the east side), I have 2 extra bedrooms but only one single bed so bring something to sleep on. I will even let you try and pet the prairie dogs
