Pops trade in his older pickup for a 2021 GMC Serria 1500 Duramax diesel
All brands now have a 1/2 ton diesel. Ford n Dodge have V6 diesel n the Chevy Duramax is inline 6. All are 3.0 liter.Congratulations Pops. I didn't know that you could get the Duramax in the 1/2 ton.
i have extended warranty ......Pops congratulations and i have to tell you to get the extended warranty for transmission. Gm is having lots of issues with that big boy trans failing.
Are you talking about the 10 speed that GM and Ford both use??Pops congratulations and i have to tell you to get the extended warranty for transmission. Gm is having lots of issues with that big boy trans failing.
There is also a 2.8 Liter diesel used in the smaller GM vehicles. It is used in the Colorado, not sure what else...All brands now have a 1/2 ton diesel. Ford n Dodge have V6 diesel n the Chevy Duramax is inline 6. All are 3.0 liter.
Congrats, B! So ill ax the obvious question...why not a Ram Eco Diesel?
The reviews/comparisons show the GM Duramax better all the way around. There's a reason Ram uses an inline 6 Cummins. And for the life of me cannot figure out why they went V6. GM went inline 6 on the Duramax. Inline 6 always has better "bottom" end torque.Congrats, B! So ill ax the obvious question...why not a Ram Eco Diesel?
