Strange brake light issue

I have a strange issue where my left rear brake light and signal light isn't working. The front left signal works fine. The trail lights are fine too. I checked the bulbs and the ground, they are good. What would cause this issue on just one corner?

Most likely a bad turn signal switch. But you really need to check that wire at the switch connector to properly diagnose it.
