I love the super stock look, and specifically want to raise rear suspension on my '67 Satellite and run 28" tall tires. I have run super stock springs on other cars and I'm familiar with how they ride.. not terrible, but ok.
I will never, ever drag race this car, don't have a ton of power (mostly stock 360) and just want the stance and a decent ride.
Any suggestions as to a ride-height raising alternative to super stock springs that would be a better ride quality and cheaper (compared to a full set of SS with hangers and shocks costing around $400 shipped)?
I will say, last time I ran super stocks i was not using good shocks. If I end up doing it again, I will probably use some 25" kyb gas-a-just shocks (D200).
Does anyone with a '67 satellite and super stocks care to share their stance photos?
Thanks,
Andrew
