Going up every few hours. These are per/litre prices...... one litre equals a C.H. over one Quart.

NZ Dollars prices.... one NZ Dollar equals US$0.63 at the current rate.....

LPG = roughly US$3.80 per US Gallon

Our 98 octane is roughly US$9.02 per US gallon

Our 95 octane is roughly US$8.80 per US gallon

Our 91 octane is roughly US$8.20 per US gallon

Our Diesel is roughly US$8.06 per US gallon

Pretty much doubled over the last year.

Taxes make up about 70% of the cost at the pump. And we pay Road User Charges based on mileage for Diesel vehicles.

Diesel attracts the normal taxes, but is exempt from a couple of taxes that other fuels have built in. On top of the pump price, we pay an additional Road User Charge based on mileage.
