I lived in Hutch when this happened in 2001.....

There was a geyser just about a block down the street from our house....

Safe to say there wasn't a good nights sleep for quite a while.....

The hell of it was, there was no smell to the gas as it was raw methane, so you had no idea of when or where the next one would happen or what would set it off......

Sorta made me appreciate my farts....at least I could smell them and know exactly where that gas was coming from!!!!!!!

That's why the add the garlic smell to propane and natural gas.
