Time to hit the Track.

Mike. I wrapped an 18 gauge wire around the centre of the tire and at 13LBS the wire length was 95".

5,000 Dynamic conv, 4.10 gear, M/T 11.5 X 29.5, 13 LBS, 95" rollout, 129.87 MPH, 6500 RPM.

Thanks for the important info for my use. Mike
At 129.23MPH for me I am trapping right at 7000rpm with a 28" tall tire with 88" rollout and 4.30 ratio. I am going to the Hoosier 29" stiff sidewall with a 92" rollout. It should cut my rpm thru the traps to around 6600 + or -...and should improve my mph and et as well.
I will report results.

A new racing year starts this weekend! Looking to set a new personal best. And going into 2108 with a fresh transmission with a low-gear set, a new 8" custom converter and 180 lbs less weight. Hope all goes well!

Still a 5" scoop opening but trying it backwards for awhile.

Hope last year's tires hook. There's lots of tire there to use up.

The Plynouth sure feels different just moving it around with the different transmission gearing and converter. Also had to turn the torsion bars down 2 full turns.

Almost got a 4th round. The rain finally hit. Was in the burnout box when it started.
Wonder what will happen first. 1- it drys up
2- Wookie shows up with my barrel of fuel.

That ET, mph and 60' are GREAT with crappy 4500 adj altitude... That is real close to 10 flat in 1500 to 1800 feet of air (if you ever get that at your track...i don't know about that)
PS: your 1.46 60' is especially great. At my 10.15 to 10.17 ET's my best 60' is 1.50 and typical is 1.51. Your suspension and tires are working...tell us again about your complete suspension system, front and rear and tires, etc plus what rpm are you leaving at off the transbrake (presuming you have transbrake ?).

Rush for me. I have to work on Barney yet tonight.

Car keeps getting quicker, very good.

First pass today. Spinning. I changed shock settings. Went wrong way but still moving forwards.

Great runs and I was just funin ya. I like .020 lights and every now and then .010 light thrown in. I will be headed out next weekend.

Getting better on the light but a tad slower.

I'll take a .023 forever. You'll win way more than you lose.
