Tools that you don't use very often and didn't use them a whole lot to begin with....and had to 'relearn' it....

I know how to use it, (I know how to use them all listed)
but revue the instructions every time I do, with the suspension stiff
just so 'It's right', SPC performance

Fast track Six Pack, outboards idle set screw adjuster too,
waste of $$$
still works but not worth it
a piece of 3/16" vacuum hose & a flat blade/or phillips small 1/4" hex bit
works just as well

Fuel sender hold down ring/rubber seal, tightening tool
(don't know the real name)
it works way better then the screwdriver & hammer

Front end assembly & disassembly, the tools
(I bought from Mancini Racing $149 IIRC)
I bought to use (25+ years ago) while installing all of these parts (below),
rarely ever used
even when doing the task,
most haven't even been out of the plastic yet
but I seem to get the job done,
sorry couldn't find a photo of the tolls even
peice of steel pipe & long all thread, few nust & washers,
still gets it done or a bench press

For me it is a digital Satellite finder....used for aligning satellite dishes. I have another meter which is used for digital TV signal alignment also....which is a breeze to use by comparison. Eye-balling and seat-of-the-pants alignment doesn't cut the mustard in the digital signal world now.

I loaned this to a local TV guy whose meter was so far outdated that he needed to get a job done before he could get his replaced. Even mine needed a software update due to the new satellite for downunder communications (as of March this year). So I got an immediate update by the Supplier at no cost, and the other guy aligned his dish on site in a matter of minutes. I don't use it enough to be familiar with it ...takes me an hour or so to get a dish aligned.

It is a very cool machine....an expensive machine...but well worth the result. :)

Today I got out my alternator/ps pulley puller. Had it since the early 80's. Been 20+ years since I used it.

Funny, today I starting shopping for a steering wheel puller and then thought, wait......maybe I have one? Sure enough in a tool drawer I probably haven't touched for around 10 years is a puller that looks like it will work. I'll know for sure later.
