Vapor Lock?

The jets are inside the float bowl. How can you see fuel squirting from them? Fuel goes INTO the jets, much like water into your sink drain. If fuel was squirting back out, you'd have to be pressurizing the intake manifold as opposed to having a vacuum in it. Color me confused.

Choke set properly?
A carb without accelerator pump jets?

He said "jets" not "accelerator pump". If you look up carburetor jets, this is what you'll find and that is what I have always considered "jets".

Maybe we are crossing terms, but I have never heard the term jet used in conjunction with accelerator pumps. Perhaps he meant fuel squirting from the venturi tubes?

I had a similar problem. Except mine issue was on start up. Ran fine till I got to the show and then when I'm about to leave (cooled off completely), no start. not even a click from the starter. Chased my tail and thought it was the coil, starter solenoid heat washed, ect. Turns out I had a few loose wires on the aftermarket ignition! Replaced the ignition and no more problems.

It's obvious what he meant "Accelerator Pump Nozzles". Look past it!

Pardon the confusion--fuel is squirting from the accelerator pump nozzles.

He didn't say it squirts when he pushes on the throttle though. I'm assuming he means it is leaking.
