What are we thankful for this year?

I'm thankful for, as @Mr. Cranky said a lot of things. I'm thankful for being able to wake up each day, my freedom, and especially my family including my FBBO forum family.

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

I am thankful that the Lord has never given up on me. Life is good even when it doesnt seem good. And yep all of you guys.

I'm thankful that the Lord has stood by my side for the last 18 months, and places healing hands on me. I pray that it continues.

I'm thankful that I don't live any closer to orchard Park. We usually get a little snow in November sometimes even a foot or more.
But seven (7) feet would really be a hardship.

I reckon it's a no-brainer what I'm thankful for, eh?
Not worthy and certainly clueless as to why I'm still this side of the dirt, sure...
but definitely grateful to stick around long enough to find out!

(I'm also VERY thankful I nailed it on the turkey cookin' this year!)

God bless and keep every good soul amongst you, along with all your loved ones!
- Wife Lisa, Pup Sasha (now 13yrs old!), Fred the GTX and I, still on the ridge

Good health, a loving wife and daughter, my family, and a roof over my head.

(This is the first tenet that applicants for scholarship in the Mike Rowe Works program
have to agree with. "Works" for me, too.)

Still no matter the lousy current leadership
I'm still living in the best damn country, in the whole damn world

My dad is still above dirt

I'm still healthy as I ever was, don't have to go to a job
my dog is doing well & healthy

my girls are all doing very well, strong as ever
their spouses have been good to them

my son is somewhere out on a deployment, hush, hush (US Navy lifer),
he's safe so far

my ol' lil' truck 99 Dakota SLT 4x4 still in tip-top shape 'for 23 years old'
my RR has gone up in value

got a nice warm house & nice dry roof over my head

a lil' $$ in the bank (for now)

got dad in a new truck, a smaller truck, 22 Maverick Lariot AWD,
not my 1st choice
(but; he won't take out as many people that way)
got rid of the 5th wheel trailer (the rolling bar, that almost took him out)
& got rid of my 02 F350 4x4 expensive dually diesel dog,
he thought was his daily driver, got decent $$$ for both

(& it's all paid for)

Life's good for now, for the 'crazy times' anyway

if only we can get 'better leadership' :praying:

I am thankful that I still have my parents to talk to. I'm especially grateful for my dad who has taught me ingenuity and work will get you a long way
This is what we did today.

Thankful to my parents and they way they raised me to be family and god loving.
Thankful to have been given all the opportunities I have in this great land, and finally, thankful for the friends along this journey

This year i'm thankful for my God, my family, my citizenship, my rights, my home, our animals, my ability to walk upright and feed myself, our wherewithal that allows us to remain warm, housed and fed, my community here in VT, the one I have through various online use, including here at FBBO, and i'm thankful that it's shaping up to be a mild winter for once.
