Why is the 426 Hemi better than the 440?

I was very excited when Muscle Motors announced new RB a B blocks from their own foundry that can be drilled either Hemi or Wedge headed builds. I inquired. "Is it possible to drill a B-block for a Hemi head build?" It turns out it may not because of the push rod angle being too severe. (Or at least not without block re-design.)

Of course we have now learned of production and then company problems that made very few of any of these blocks available. But it was a fun thought. As you can tell? I'm a short deck believer? Especially in lower power applications. I'm certainly not suggesting to put it up against a top fuel Keith Black stage motor based off the Chrysler RB.
 
Built equally a blown hemi will outpower a wedge even if the ported heads flow the same.
IMO of course.
