I use my ammo too but also like to add uniqueness to den, such as the 32-40 John Wayne.

The way I understand it is there quality is hit or miss with not good customer support.

Sounds like Vortex. They seem to have fallen off the cliff when it comes to skimping on quality as well.

I had Brownells do the same thing to me. Extractor for a Remington.22 mailed in one box for U.S.$22.50 in postage, the tiny spring for said extractor mailed the next day but from the same order mailed for U.S.$22.50 postage. Over fifty Canadian dollars postage for two tiny items that would fit in an envelope.

Yeah im not willing to pay that much per round. Just recently scored a few boxes of steel case for pretty cheap but they run really shitty in my garand.
