My older brother bought an old bread truck to haul things around in. Big six cylinder and he was going down a long hill and it backfired. Blew the muffler at to hell.
Hey for as cheap as they are I'll take my chances. They will be Dynomax the next go around.

This was the first fire up with Trick Flow Heads. It was before I completed the exhaust so it's open headers. The cam is the MP 280, .474.

Actually they're not the same as I bought. These just have a "V" divider inside. Quite heavy guage too.

Yea, you're right. Mine are not welded either which is why they went kaboom. They came with the complete exhaust kit, about $250 total so I didn't expect much.

A little project to teach the boy about mechanics. 77 smog motor all stock except (cam, intake, carb, and headers). Comp cam smallest thumper series: Duration 279/296 with .486/.473 lift and 107* lobe separation. Before I get roasted, I have fixed the wires.
