What is everyone working on in the off season.

Waiting on Jan 12 2019 to go to the track if the weather is good, try to crack into the 10's, if all goes well, will pull the seats & carpet & run battery cables to the trunk & put some more carpet jute down , making the car quieter inside. Happy New year to Y'ALL !!!!!

Hoping that I have time and good weather to pull all of the trim off and send it out for paint.

Well seeing this post made me take some inventory on what I currently have going on, and now I’m thinking it may be too many things at once. I’m normally a fan of finishing one project before starting another. Right now..... not so much.
  • Project #1 is my shop space. A couple of years ago I punched out a 10x12 space behind my garage, but ran out of motivation and time once the walls were finished. This winter I’m finishing it out by adding a work-bench with shelving, pegboard wall, and appropriate lighting.
  • Project #2 is my rear suspension which is just a simple tear down, inspection, and re-assembly. Its a full Calvert deal that runs aluminum bushings and is street driven, so I just want to inspect and re-grease where appropriate.
  • Project #3 will be the valvetrain in the Satellites 452” bullet. I just purchased some new 1.6 rockers and once I measure will also be ordering new pushrods as well. Normal maintenance would be a valve adjustment, so this won’t be too much more work than that, but a little more expensive. My hope is that the extra lift and slight gain in effective duration will unleash more of my heads potential, after having them CNC ported last winter.
  • Lastly, but certainly not least is project #4. My wife wants to update the house with new hardwood flooring (which I’m hiring out), new baseboard molding and doorcase trim, and a repaint of the entire house interior. This one will take a lot of my time this winter
I hope the car doesn’t fall to the back burner. My winter free time is full.

Yep my 72 Plymouth satellite is original petty blue. .rolling chassis. .i have a cammed up 440 for it and a 456 spool

Just pulled the 8 3/4 axle and heater core and radio. Next fiberglass hood and wiper motor and arms

Hey LW. HNY!
Looks like #1 is already done, #2 is a buddy thing with a beer or 2. #3 very doable, extra lift, check to make sure there's no pushrod bind at the head and #4, glad it's you and not me.. :)

Nice set up. Are the tubs getting moved inbound too?
If your spring perches aren't strapped you may want to consider doing that as well.

Yep, doing mini tub and Subframe connectors at the same time as spring relocation. Maybe even roll bar

Not much yet for this off season yet due to reconstructive knee surgery. A few more weeks and I should be able to get back on the B Bodies and the Challenger soon.

Gathering parts for my 470 build , so far I have Crank , rods msd dist and 6 rods pistons . Unsure of the heads leaning towards the TF , does anyone know what headers will work with those heads using a low deck in a 67 Plymouth

Going to be nice! Did you see the Tub strips from US Tools? They make the job quick and clean.

Not good... hope you're healing up well. Don't rush it.

Working on the Cuda. Its getting the old mild steel cage removed(was done in 88)and new Chromemoly installed,
My KB block should be in next month, and am slowly gathering parts. Found a callies magnum xl crank in Florida for a great price. Need to get rods and then decide on what trans. Damn its expensive to redo all this stuff. Lol
