I saved a couple 383s from going to the scrap pile today.Have a guy that picks up the scrap metal from my boss.He had two 383s in the back of his truck he picked up for scrap.I looked at them and knew I had to save them.I looked at him and told him $200.00 each.Looked in good shape and turn over with a breaker bar and socket.Took my offer and put them in the back of my truck.My husband's reaction,cool telling me good job saving them.

I have a 383 block still assembled, I know its a HP block and will look tomorrow for the year and that F stamp.

No. It’s the numbers matching block to a car I have here. I’m not using it and there’s no reason to keep it.
