Losing parts....am I the only one!!?

That misplaces stuff in the shop?? Geez and Petes, I'll lay something down and all of a sudden it's gone and no place in sight! It's like someone comes in and hides the dang stuff. The latest part is something that I had my hands on just two days ago and have no freaking idea where it went and spent way too many hours looking for it today.....but at least the Astros won yet again!

I’ve done countless laps around my cars in my garage only to find the **** laid somewhere completely different than where I thought I laid it. That or it pops up and I say to myself “You dumb bastard that’s where you laid it!”

It’s tools for me. I’ll go to do something, have the tool in my hand. Get distracted and bam, can’t find that tool for the life of me.

Makes me crazy.

Now I make a serious effort whenever I put something down to stop and look at it and think about where I put it.

Makes me crazy too and do the same thing.....90% of the time at least but in this case, stats don't matter! When I was married, she was bad about laying her stuff on top of mine until I quit putting stuff down where she could cover it up with something of hers. Here lately things have been being moved around a lot since I'm getting rid of a lot of stuff....

I have just one question... How many times did you go back to the same tool box and open every drawer. Like its magically going to appear.. Hell I have walked to the fridge came back and cant find the damn tv remote.. 3 hours later you find it in the fridge...

I thought to mention finding the damn ratchet in the fridge near the now 5 pack and soon to be 4 pack. At least when I do that its only a little while till I find it.

Never put the remote in the fridge before but have put the ice cream in there instead of the freezer once....but that's all it took was once! Going to the tool box many times? Oh yeah!

My wife brought home a cake for my kids birthday. I heard put it in the garage fridge.. So I put it in the garage fridge. 2 days later I go to get it out for the birthday party.. I said Honey is this cake supposed to jiggle? She said No its an icecream cake.. Needless to say a fast trip to the store to get another.. Apparently fridge and freezer dont sound alike.. She swears she said freezer.
