What is everyone working on in the off season.

Bearman, i'm sure malex meant to say "jack it up till your tires are off the ground, and the rear suspension is hanging...." , but then i think we all know what he meant.
Haha, I thought that's what I said, lol. Thanks 33!

Here's an old picture where my shocks are long enough but the leafs ran out of travel. Damn QA1's.

Front goes up. Front comes down and back goes up. Can't see daylight under the tires in the second picture but I do have somewhere.

Always a thanks to the FBBO guys that helped me through those bad launch times!

Please excuse my SHAMEFUL ignorance, but i dont know. Did the original hemi darts and cudas come with a lift-off or hinged?

Edit: i suspect a lift-off because of what they did with the A12 a year later.
---
Lift off I believe. I ordered the hood that I could use with hinges, thinking way ahead with age in mind.

Pulled the front seat for a new cover from Legendary. I bought some Speedmaster aluminum small block heads. I think I'll build a 390 stroker out of my roller cam block.

Malex , that looks fantastic

Thanks! It’s been a fun build all the way through. Even the day the power went out for almost 2 hours when I was halfway through the basecoat. Pitch black and I got stuck to the right quarter panel. Minor set back.

This is my last tidy up till later in year .
Start season on saturday .

It will turn out excellent, FBBO dudes will help!

Not my b body but finished painting the new roll cage, the interior is making progress, got seats and seat brackets back from powder coating, finished trimming the rear valance to clear the wheelie bars. It's being painted now. Figure I have about a yr of wk still on the Cuda. Its only been sitting since 2006 so whats 1 more yr and I still have my wagon to play with.
Got a call late last week that something special my way comes after a 15 month wait. Won't say what as I don't want to jinx it.
