Advice needed for choosing Replacement Radiator (70 Coronet R/T)

I'm in the same boat. 1969 Coronet with 318. Tonight I'm going to order a US Radiator from Classic Industries. Classic Industies calls them OER but I'm pretty sure they are made by US Radiator. Made in USA. I'm going with the aluminum version.
I read a post on the forum where someone bought one of these radiators. The only thing different from the originals is that there are holes instead of studs for mounting the fan shroud.
Last summer I took the radiator to a shop in Muskogee and the guy said it needed a re-core and it would cost at least $600.00! I took it home and epoxied the hell out of it. It's held up but I don't trust it once the weather starts to warm up.

Well, I just found out Classic Industries has ceased operations for the time being. Will not be ordering from them until they are up and running again.

I used a Cold Case in my 300. Had to elongate one hole. Shroud fit well. I would recommend them.

Do you mind telling me why you chose US radiator unit instead of the cold case?

Yes, Classic Industries buys the US radiator product and reboxes it.
No not really, the aluminum version tanks and core are made overseas. They do robotically weld only some here in the USA.

With our special, the Cold Case radiator is going to look very much the same but be a bigger capacity than the OER/US Rad unit. For a decent amount less cost. Shoot me a PM if you want to compare.

The US Radiator was the only one that looked like the original. 1969 Coronet with 318 and A/C, 26".
My heart isn't set on it or anything. If you offer the same thing I'm perfectly willing to do business with you. I won't be ordering from Classic Industries until they are operating again.
Would you post a picture of the radiatior you offer for a '69 Coronet with A/C, automatic transmission. I'm in the market for one.
I don't need extra cooling since the engine is stock and the car is not a hot rod. Just need a replacement.

thanks for explaining. I always want to know what makes people choose one over another. I understand about not needing the extra cooling.
Depending on your inlet and outlet positions,
It's either this one; https://www.coldcaseradiators.com/product/66-74-abc-e-body-17x26-auto-aluminum-performance-radiator
or this one:

They come polished by you can dust it with a metal etching primer and paint it with regular radiator black color paint for a very original look.

This is what I have in my 69 GTX. Factory look and factory fit. Stock shroud bolts right up.

Thanks, but niether of the those radiators will work. Mine has both outlets on the driver's side. I'll post a picture tomorrow. US Radiator is the only one I've found that makes the radiator I need.

26" with both on the same side? I've never seen a 26" with both on the same side. I would like to see a pic. thanks!

If you enlarge the 2nd photo you can see the bottom hose.

I had to grind for fitment at the battery tray, and then down low on the passenger side to clear. One mounting hole was misdrilled and I had to elongate it more than I really wanted to, and the shroud barely fits.

Glad I wasn't the only one; I figured the ECP radiator didn't fit because of a DOH move I pulled back in the 90's. Asides from that my 440 runs cooler than when I had my parts-store-stocker radiator.

yes....and two weeks ago I would have dropped 1200 on a Glen Ray radiator without thinking twice...but as of yesterday I have no job....soooooo I'm going to go with something that works for now and save my OE radiator to be re-cored for later.

You and me both. I was all set to order a new grille and grille support for my '69 and then POOF! The job was gone.

Is Classic Industries shipping again? I tried to order some parts from them, but got a notice saying that due to the virus their shipping has stopped...

I got a Cold Case with shroud and two electric fans for my 496, fit like a glove and keeps her at 185 degrees. Enjoyed working with them!

Going to order the 754K for my 540, it's going to be tight..
